Season the pork steaks on both sides with salt, ground black pepper and garlic granules.
Heat a little oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the pork steaks and cook for 4–5 minutes on each side until cooked through and lightly golden. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Lower the heat slightly. Dissolve the stock cube in 200 ml hot water and pour into the pan, stirring to scrape up any bits from the bottom.
Pour in the double cream and add the ground black pepper. Simmer gently for 5–7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Return the pork steaks to the pan and spoon the sauce over them. Heat for 2–3 minutes.
Serve hot with potatoes, rice or vegetables.
